Our History

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church (ELCA) was organized February 21, 1988.  The congregation worshipped at Trinity Lutheran College until facilities were constructed in 1995.  The Fellowship Hall was added in 2005.

St. Paul wrote to the Corinthian Christians, " I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth."  Shepherd of the Hills has been served by a number of Pastors.  James Reide.  Joel Kutzke.  Drahus Oslik.  Debbie Boyce.  Each of the Pastors partnered with committed lay leadership to enable Shepherd of the Hills to become a vital congregation called to love and serve God and God's people.

We gather around God's Word and Sacraments each Sunday at 10:00 am.  That experience empowers us to live daily as disciples of Jesus wherever our lives take us - in homes, schools, offices, marketplaces, playing fields, concert halls, and more.  With God's help and guidance we bear witness to the One who is at the center of life for the people of Shepherd of the Hills - Jesus Christ.

You are welcome to join us!
